I went to Kiesier early at 10am with my son. He dropped me there because there was no parking place available. Thank God he didn't go to the clinic with me because I found out there was no surgery just a detail check up. The first nurse took me in a room and took measurements of my eye lens. She kept on taking pictures for some time. Then I had another doctor's appointment at 11am. The nurse diluted my eye with some drops and examined the pressure of my eyes. The doctor came and said I don't need surgery. My cataract is not developed. They discharged me and I walked to the Panera Bread where I met Osaid. We had lunch together and came back home.
Hi everyone, Today I went to my English class. First we had an icebreaker question and that was what you ate at night for dinner. There were Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and me from Pakistan. Indian talked about eating vegetables and chapati. The other nations mostly talked about eating soup, crab, fish, and meat. On my turn I told I was sick so I didn't eat anything. Some Chinese people think that curry means Chicken curry and the Indian man was explaining how they make curry. I talked to my son Osaid and he said that curry means sauce, We can use it in vegetables and meat also. We had a game after that where we had to find a word and people gave us clues. At the end of the class we discussed Donald Trump and his inauguration. I thought we would talk about something light but Indians were talking about immigration law and then about women's equal rights which were quite boring. Before going to the class I went to the Macy's and bought a sweater. It's fun to go there, ev...
Urdu Academy, I got up as usual and after prayer I realized Azeem will come home and I should cook some lunch for him. I quickly socked rice in water and started cooking meat. I saw eggplant in my freezer and thought I should cook them. At 10 am Azeem entered home, he sat down and I tried to entertain him by talking about different subjects. We talked about their father, politics, and about Robin. The whole time I started conversation. Azeem looks quiet or conscious about taking initiative. Soon it was lunch time and the lunch was ready. After eating he ate banana. At 11:30 he said he wanted to go and come back next week. When he was little he was very talkative. I want to see him like that again. I looked at my email and saw that there is Urdu Academy program today from 12 to 4 pm. I got ready and started thinking that I should go at 2 pm. Then I thought may be I will find some friends there. I left home at one and when I reached chandni restaurant. I saw there was lu...
